OG Heritage Wax is the original family formula created by George Short — a lifelong tinkerer, restorer, and what Erik fondly calls “the chemist.” Born in a New Hampshire workshop and perfected over years of restoring antique tools and well-loved pieces, this wax does more than shine.
It cleans, enhances, nourishes, and protects wood, metal, and leather while gently deepening tone and bringing grain to life. The finish is touchable, low-odor, and buffs beautifully — by hand or on a lathe — with a soft, natural sheen that looks better the more it’s used.

APPLICATION

Always use disposable gloves.

On wood and metal surfaces, remove surface dust and rust first.

Apply wax with a soft cloth, rubbing it into the material.

Buff off excess immediately or after a brief moment, depending on how thirsty the wood is.

If wax is left on too long and becomes tacky, simply apply another light coat and buff off.
Wax on. Wax off.
For very dry or heavily used pieces, additional coats may be applied.
