Wood Lover’s Wax was created at a family workbench by Karen’s Dad, George — an antique tool restorer who believes finishing should be straightforward, forgiving and genuinely enjoyable. His work restoring and maintaining well-used tools demanded a finish that could protect, revive and hold up to real use without complicated steps.

What began as a practical solution for real work grew into a simple, two-wax system designed to support makers at every level — finishes that work with the wood, not against it, and deliver consistent results without overthinking.

The Partner Path is how we share that system with people who teach, demonstrate and show their work in the real world — so they can stay focused on building, sharing and passing skills on, not fighting finishing processes.

We’re intentionally building a small, values-aligned group of partners who use Wood Lover’s Wax in classes, demos and public-facing work.
