Bring Wood Lover’s Wax Into Your World
For the people who make, restore, build, teach, use, and care for the pieces worth keeping.
Wood Lover’s Wax is family-run, New Hampshire born, Delaware rooted, and growing through real conversations, hands-on experiences, and practical partnerships with makers, restorers, teachers, shops, and communities.
Wood Lover’s Wax began at a family workbench with Karen’s dad, George, an antique tool restorer who needed something straightforward, forgiving, and genuinely useful for real wood, metal, leather, and well-used tools.
What started as a practical solution for real work has grown into two waxes, a family-run business, and a simple question:
How do you wax YOUR wood?
Why We’re Building This
Some of our best ideas have started because someone asked,
“Could you make this work for us?”
-
A teacher wanted take-home care for student projects.
-
A maker wanted something easy to demonstrate.
-
A shop owner wondered if WLW belonged on their shelf.
-
A guild wanted a hands-on experience their members could actually try.
That’s what this page is for: starting the right conversations.
Ways We Can Work Together
Host a Hands-On Experience
Bring us to your guild, club, maker space, restoration group, or hands-on community. Guests try both waxes themselves, ask questions, compare results, and talk through real projects.
Add Take-Home Kits to a Class
Teaching a woodworking, cutting board, restoration, or maker class? Our 2 oz tins are perfect for student kits, project care, and post-class follow-up.
Carry Wood Lover’s Wax
Have a shop, studio, antique space, maker market, or community retail spot? Let’s talk about whether WLW belongs on your shelf.
