OG Heritage Wax vs Food Safe Wax
Two purpose-built family formulas. Same high standards. Different jobs.
If it touches food, choose Food Safe.
If it doesn’t, OG Heritage Wax is your workhorse.
Food Safe Wax
-
Food-safe family formula made for kitchen use
-
Two ingredients: 100% pure USA beeswax + food-grade mineral oil
-
For cutting and charcuterie boards, bowls, butcher blocks, and utensils
-
Safe for antique or modern kitchenware
-
Same application: wax on, wax off
-
Reapply as needed due to washing and use

How to Use Either Wax
Both waxes are applied the same way — rub the wax into the surface with one cloth and, using a different/clean cloth, buff it out. No waiting. No curing. Wax on, wax off, appreciate.

Extremely dry pieces may benefit from a heavier coat or a second pass. Let the wood tell you what it needs.
What Both Waxes Share
-
Family-made in small batches
-
Designed to penetrate, not sit on top
-
Works on unfinished or non-poly surfaces
-
Not for sealed or glossy finishes
-
Made to bring out grain and deepen natural tone
-
A whole lot of things made better by a little wax
